    Covid is not over

    by Erykah 9th March 2025
    • The pandemic is not over.
    • Covid is airborne.
    • Masks work, but they need to be FFP2 or FFP3.
    • Covid is not a cold (it’s not really respiratory, it’s vascular. It goes everywhere blood goes.).
    • Covid attacks every organ in your body, including your brain.
    • Covid depletes your immune system, making you more vulnerable to other viruses and infections.
    • Covid is SARS.
    • Long Covid can destroy your life.
    • Every reinfection increases your risk of lifelong disability.
    • The vaccine is one important layer of protection but does not make you fully immune to it.
    • Infection does not make you immune to it.
    • The vaccines can cause problems for a small number of unlucky people but it has proven safe for the vast majority of the billions of people who have received it.
    • New variants emerge all the time because we’ve let it run rampant.
    • Covid is not seasonal. We get waves throughout the year as the new variants come.

Thinking today of the millions of people who’ve died from it and the millions of people who are still living with it. ❤️❤️❤️

Heartening to see that a majority of YouGov responses want a better world for the UK’s disabled.

Do people who have a disability need more support from the benefits system?

Thinking about the different groups who the benefit system supports, for each of the following groups do you think it offers too much support, too little support, or about the right amount? People who...

“While CO₂ doesn’t transmit viruses itself, it acts as a proxy for indoor crowding and poor ventilation. When there isn’t enough ventilation, these levels stay high as do the chances that airborne viruses can linger longer and infect others.”

The role of carbon dioxide in airborne disease transmission: a hidden key to safer indoor spaces

The concentration of CO2 in the air directly affects how long a virus remains infectious.
