    The Heavens opened…

    The passengers stood crowded, as ever, into little bunches on the freezing cold train platform. Beyond the frail shelter of the Victorian awnings the snow fell in a wispy blanket only to congregate into inches of accumulation on the iced over ground. The train was late due to the train company’s total inability to cope in the face of anything that could be classed as ‘weather’… the wrong kind of snow, wind above a gust, falling leaves in Autumn. Today, it was snowing. It was April. It was APRIL!!!! Suddenly there was a rumble in the Heavens and the weary commuters groaned in anticipation of even worse weather. Each silently…
